What does active with contingencies mean?
When a home is listed as “active with contingencies” the seller has received an offer from a buyer, however, the buyer must meet certain conditions before the purchase can be completed. Active with contingencies is commonly used for situations in which a buyer must sell their own home before being able to complete the purchase of a new home.
